Hairpin Lace Braided Infinity Cowl

hairpin lace cowlHere at The Yarn Attic local yarn store we are currently displaying The Hairpin Lace Braided Infinity Cowl.

For this project, you will need a hairpin lace loom, which is available at our local yarn store, 350 to 400 yards of worsted/aran weight yarn, and a crochet hook size H (5mm).

Rhonda used 3 skeins of Noro Koromo Organic Cotton Aran weight yarn, which is a blend of organic cotton, silk, and wool in colorway 2, and a size G (4mm) crochet hook to complete the project. This is a free pattern designed by Brittany, the founder of B.hooked Crochet. The pattern does not require much experience with hairpin lace, but a little bit of experience crocheting, and by that I mean, knowing how to do a single crochet (sc). Brittany includes photos and a great video tutorial on her website.

The braided details on this cowl are so pretty, that this can be tailored to whatever worsted/Aran weight yarn of your liking, whether it’s tonal, variegated, hand painted, semi solid, or solid yarns. They would all look great!
